Kirs[ed] Random Tidbits: YKK

Now, I know I'm not the only one that's ever wondered what the YKK stood for on hoodies/jackets/coats/jeans/etc.

I'm a pretty random person and I look at the most peculiar/normal things and wonder of their origins.

For instance: Who saw an egg drop out of a chicken and thought, "Now call me crazy...but I think I could eat that." (I know, I need serious help)

So, I did what any person does when they wanna find out the answer to a perculiar question....I googled it!

It turns out that YKK is a freakin' corporation! They make the odds and ends that help bigger things function properly and without hazard.

Chris Brown has officially released the highly anticipated video for, I Can Transform Ya, and it's well umerumm... everything I thought it would be and more *good sigh*.

No matter how hard you try, you cannot knock this man's talent! In the words of my homie he may not know it but there is a connection lol, T.I.: You can hate if you want to but you're wasting your time!

CB's 3rd studio album, Graffiti, will be released Dec. 15th! So save up the your change and go make that monetary donation!

Kirs Artist Spotlight: La Roux 'Bulletproof'

After weeks of seeing the video for, Bulletproof on MtvU and loving it....I finally found out who this chick is! Her name is Elly Jackson, and even though she is in the video solo, she is actually part of a duo, La Roux. The sound is electro-pop and comes straight out of England.

The video is very creative and different. Something must be in the water over there in England because the music/creativity that comes from the big 'E' be on some other -ish! I love it! Dare to be different! Think outside the box!

Eclectic Taste: Imogen Heap

Imogen Heap is HOT! She is the artist that Jason Derulo's, latest song, 'Watcha Say' is sampled from!

She's from London, and there really aren't words I can put together to describe her style...its just eclectic and different.

I love this song! The first time I heard it was last week at a radio event. Former American Idol contestant, Brooke White sang it and did a fabulous job! I was getting dressed this morning and the video came on! Love it!

Lil' Wayne is expected to cop a plea deal tomorrow stemming from an arrest made in 2007, after authorities found a loaded pistol on his tour bus in New York City. He may be going away for 8 months! 8 months is a LONG time!

I thought this interview was hilarious last night! T.O. had Wendy flustered, Wendy had T.O. flustered... it was just a cute interview! I loved it! I thought it was funny how Terrell mentions that he has in fact met Wendy before, and Wendy shoots back that she doesn't think they have because she would have remembered "that" [Terrell]. She then quickly changes it to "you".

Well lookie lookie here!
Mase is a straight up "G" for pulling this on the legendary-iron clad-contract-divo, AKA, Diddy!

Diddy had Mase locked into a contract that would not allow him to be featured on/make music as an artist without his permission. Mase says in the video that he has been trying to get Diddy to sign his freedom papers release forms for 10 years!

Did ya'll hear me? I said 10 years!

I think its funny that he's been trying to get his "John Hancock" for 10 years, and all he really had to do was run up on him during an interview with cameras rolling.

I loved how Diddy tried to play it off like it was no thing to sign the papers. I don't know if Diddy likes surprises, but I'm sure he was not expecting that one!

Sidebar: How long do ya'll think its going to take Diddy's lawyers to find a loop hole? I'm just saying. He is Diddy.

The Mo'Nique Show: Fizz and Boog Performance

Soooo, I was watching the Mo'Nique Show on BET last night and I was surprised to see Fizz and Boog, formerly of B2K, performing their new song BOUNCE!

After I turned the sound back up on my television, Mo is loud as all hell, I was able to hear what I've been missing for the past few years. My dudes, minus 2, are back!

I was so happy for them, but then again I'm happy for anybody who gets kicked out of a group and done dirty.

I was a HUGE stalker fan of B2K back in the day! I had their posters and just knew that Lil' Fizz and I were going to be married and have little lite brite kids. So as you can imagine I was utterly hurt destroyed when I learned that the evil-doers had broken the group up!

Now, this little container is really a wizard of sorts.
I'd say it was invented eons ago, yes "eons" is a scientific word, its quite crazy how it works....really it is.

All you do is take material that you have no use for anymore and throw it in the container.
Wah-la, just like magic, its gone. 

They even make the container big, small, medium etc, to help facilitate all shapes, types, and sizes of waste products.

Some nifty folks have put them all around communal areas in hopes that people will... in... fact... throw their unwanted materials away.

And to make it that much more convenient, these clever people have even set-up systems all around the country, that make it so citizens do not have to then further dispose of their trash once its been thrown away!

Get the hell out of here!
People actually come, pick-up the trash, and remove it from the premises.
I tell you, its amazing!

So the next time you have unwanted material in your possession, be a doll, and throw it the shit in the nearest trash-can. You'd be surprised at how nice your community looks!

Well umerumm she hasn't said she's pregnant yet, so I'm just going to keep assuming that she's not and call it a day.

She'll announce it, when she's ready to announce it.

She is getting rather thick around the edges though, which only adds to folks speculation. I like Mariah thick, there is nothing wrong with some meat on your bones! Do your thing mama!
