Kirs Artist Spotlight: Bluey Robinson

So his name is Bluey Robinson No, I don't know what kind of name that is and he's from London. Yes, I said London. I found out about his music while fooling around on Youtube a few years ago...and I liked what I heard. His music is kind of R&B -ish, pop -ish, and just fresh! It might take some people a little longer to rock with him but trust me...it'll grown on you!

Oh and did I mention he's kind of cute? Well... Bluey is cute..so if you check him out for no other reason...do it for the afforementioned observation.

Song 2 Watch: Kris Allen [Live Like We're Dying]

I dig this song! Words to live by!

Sidenote: I had no idea Kris was a contestant on American Idol...I guess that's what happens when you stop watching the show after Fantasia wins.

Don't judge me...

Impeccable Audio: One Republic [All the Right Moves]

I heard All the Right Moves, for the first time last night while I was driving home and as I was listening I was thinking, "Yo, this song rocks!". I wanted to write down the lyrics so that I could look it up when I got home; but I was driving so I couldn't write anything down, and my memory is bad so I knew I wouldn't remember the words enough to Google it later.

So today, I went to the website of the radio station that played the song, and I just kept looking through playlist titles until I found something that sounded like it would be the lyrics to the song I was looking for...far fetched and a bit much I know, but I FOUND IT!
Hot damn...I'm bueno!

Song: All the Right Moves
Artist: One Republic (Yes, they're back like they never left)

The song is just dope check it below!

Song Throwback: Nipsey Russell [What Would I Do if I Could Feel]

The Wiz is probably one of my most favorite musicals/movies on the planet! I just love this song! Nipsey did his thing as the tin man! Love it!

RIP Nipsey Russell and Michael Jackson!

Lord, let me finish this post before I start talking about Michael Jackson...why man...why? Why did they have to take Michael?! (Now I don't know who "they" is but ya'll get what I'm taking about)

He's still the GREATEST to ever have done it...

What in the Videonation?!: Erykah Badu [Window Seat]

Honey, I really don't know what to say about this video...she's Erykah motha -effin Badu...which pretty much means she can walk around buck ass naked in the middle of a very busy downtown area if she wants too!

Get it mama!

On a side note...Travis of the Gym Class Heroes, tweeted that he'll give $500 to the person who can figure out what the "blue blood" spells at the end of the video. So, my little Kirs-ed squad put your best go-go gadget glasses on and pay adamnttention!

Peep the vid below and once you figure out what the blood spells, Twitter the sexiness himself Travis aka @Travismtv so you can collect that guap! Tell him @IndustryKirs sent you!

Impeccable Audio: Mateo [Doubt]

So, I've known about Mateo for a few years now but I never really paid that much attention to his music. Honestly, I just thought he was cute...don't judge me... I never really gave his music much notice. So yesterday, Angel of ConcreteLoop, tweeted about how dope his new mixtape Underneath the Sky Chp. 3 was so, I decided I should stop being shallow & listen...I should probably find the first 2 because then the mixtape may make more sense and not seem so short  and aside from him being cute I had to mention that again...sorry, a piano player, and the fact that he's cute sorry, his music is actually pretty good!

My fave song is Doubt...so def be a lad and take a listen, because why? Yep, you've guessed it...my taste is impeccable!

Hits Kirs Believes In: B.o.B feat. Bruno Mars [Nothin' On You]

B.o.B may have a hit on his hands with this song! I heard it on a hip-hop radio station the other day & I was a little taken back because this isn't something you'd hear on a R&B/Hip-Hop station...but hey, maybe they're starting to experiment...lets hope they are, radio needs it.

Album: B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray
Released: This Spring...hopefully

I love the song! Listen NOW!
